“When I can look Life in the eyes,
Grown calm and very coldly wise,
Life will have given me the Truth,
And taken in exchange – my youth”.

Wisdom Of Life
By Maya

Yes, there is something amazing in existence, the “Pearls of Life’s Wisdom” it could be called…
By just reading about it, reading “IT” and think about it is to help to open our “horizons,”  causing sometimes “lazy” brain spring into action, (and how very beneficial that is!) explain things not well understood that are hazy or outright foreign to us.
It could help to provide answers to our “deeper” questions, teach us to find right direction on our way through life, make us understand better what the life itself is all about, how to live it better, happier and more fulfilled.
I think it very ingenious to browse through the “pearls of wisdom” occasionally. The benefit is useful, practical, valuable, I would even say, priceless. It helps us to grow into better humans in every way. After all, these pearls could be considered the
“richest treasure on this Earth.”

Its accumulation started together with human existence is
never-ending.  It was  never robbed, stolen, diminished, spent, lost, destroyed… just growing and shall continue to grow until the human race shall continue its existence.
Discover it.
I did and I’d love to share what I discovered. It’s just a tiny, tiny speck of that enormous  treasure, that’s  why I call it “pearls.”  Because each and every one of those individual “pearls” has unimaginable value.
And what’s interesting, it may seemingly differ from others, but is never of a lesser value and benefit.
 It could be an asset in every single aspect of our life, where and when we need some help or even didn’t know we need it. That is magic in it. It is constantly surprising, amazing, astonishing, simply divine.
So read on and enjoy your reading as I did enjoy my writing…

The world would be a better place if wise people had more power
and powerful people had more wisdom.
…
Creative people were more businesslike
and business people were more creative.
..
Neatniks were a little sloppier
and slobs were a little neater.
.. Hard-nosed people were more softhearted
and softhearted people were more hard-nosed.
..
Serious people were more fun-loving
and fun-loving people were more serious. –

Mardy Grothe

Things are to be used and people are to be loved,
 but a problem in today’s world is,
that people are used
 and things are loved…

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words: they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits: they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

A CREED FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED

I asked God for strength, that I might achieve.
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health, that I might do great things.
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy.
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things…
I got nothing.
I asked for but everything I hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among men, most richly blessed!

 Roy Campanella (attrib.)

It is said that for the money you can have everything,
but you cannot.
You can buy food, but not appetite;
medicine, but not health;
knowledge but not wisdom;
glitter, but not beauty;
fun, but not joy;
acquaintances, but not friends;
servants, but not faithfulness;
leisure, but not peace.
You can have the husk of everything for money, but not the kernel.

Arne Garborg

May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the sun always shine on your windowpane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you;
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you
And may ye be in Heaven half an hour before
the devil knows you are dead…

Life Still Has A Meaning

If there is a future there is time for mending
Time to see your troubles coming to an ending.
Life is never hopeless however great your sorrow
If you’re looking forward to a new tomorrow.
If there is time for wishing then there is time for hoping.
When through doubt and darkness you are blindly groping.
Though the heart is heavy and hurt you may be feeling
If there is time for praying there is time for healing.
So if through your window there is a new day breaking-
Thank God for the promise, though mind and soul be aching.
If with harvest over there is grain enough for gleaning
There is a new tomorrow and life still has meaning.

Life is a beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is a bit of luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is Life, fight for it>
